Celebrating a World Liqueur Awards Win!

We are delighted to announce that Merrys Salted Caramel Irish Cream Liqueur has been chosen as ‘Best Irish Cream Liqueur’ at the seventh annual World Liqueur Awards. This great win follows on from last years accolade of ‘Worlds Best Cream Liqueur’ and ‘Best Irish Cream Liqueur’ awarded to Merrys Irish Cream Liqueur. Overall competition was stiff with over 150 entries from all over the globe competing for gold and the winners were announced on Wednesday 29 April 2020.

Established in 2013 and part of the prestigious World Drinks Awards Program, this years World Liqueur Awards were judged remotely by an international panel of 14 industry experts. Whilst we owe a lot of our success over the last 25 years to the craftsmanship and passion of the team of people who are working here in Clonmel to produce Merrys, there is no doubt that, above all, it is the quality of our ingredients and the freshness of our rich Irish dairy cream that makes Merrys so special. We are lucky enough to be able to bottle cream from grass-fed cows that graze in our lush Golden Vale valley region in small batches within hours of it leaving the farm gate, and to have access to the finest aged Irish whiskey to give it that special taste profile.

The World Liqueur Awards are the global awards selecting the very best in all the international recognised Liqueur styles.
